Eligibility Criteria

I hope you got an idea of who should pursue the BBA course. Now, Let’s Know if you are eligible to apply for this course or not. Below are the basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration course:

  • PU Stream: If you’ve finished your 12th/PU from any stream, you’re good to go for a BBA. It doesn’t matter if you’re from a Science or Arts background, you’re still eligible. It’s not necessary to have a Commerce background in your 12th/PU.
  • Entrance Exam: Only very few Top B-Schools take Entrance Tests and Interviews Before Providing Admission. You need to pass the exam to get admitted. But don’t worry, most BBA colleges in India don’t conduct any entrance exams. They’ll just look at your 12th/PU score and percentage and decide if you’re eligible or not. To get into a good college, it’s best if you have a minimum of 50% score in your PU.

Which is the Best BBA Specialization for You?

This is the most asked question. To answer it straightly, it varies from one individual to another. Please don’t choose any Specialization just because someone tells you it’s in demand or because it promises high earning potential. It’s Not True!

Always Choose a Specialization that interests you the most, and where you feel excited to learn that specific subject in depth, and eventually if you are good at what you do, money will follow you! So, don’t just follow the crowd, follow your heart.

Previously, there were only 3 Basic Specializations, Such as Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources (HR).

But now with growing demand and many career opportunities booming around, a lot of Specializations are added. This is great news for you as you can choose your dream specialization while still learning managerial subjects from BBA as a dual program. This means that you can be enrolled in one degree and gain knowledge of both areas simultaneously.

Each University/College offers its own set of specializations and differs from one to another. If you plan to do a BBA in a specific college, you better go to their official website and check if they offer the specialization you are looking for!

The below-mentioned are the few Top Specializations:

Top BBA Specializations

  1. BBA in Marketing.
  2. BBA in Finance.
  3. BBA in Human Resource Management.
  4. BBA in Operations.
  5. BBA in Aviation Management.

Why is it Important to Do a BBA from a Reputed College?

Your degree will only have value if it’s from a good college. I have noticed that many people opt for random colleges just because they are affordable.

However, I suggest that you do not make this mistake. Instead of just considering the 3-year fees, think about the Return on Investment (ROI) you can get from graduating from college.

Therefore, it is always advisable to choose an accredited college with a good record of placements. Only then can you benefit from your degree.

Although the fees of reputed colleges may be slightly higher than usual ones, the amount of knowledge you gain from experienced faculty and the opportunities offered there will eventually lead you to excel in your career.

Remember, money spent on education is never a waste of money unless you don’t utilize it properly.

Conclusion

In Closing, I want to summarize the above-discussed points for you. The BBA program covers various business subjects, and it’s perfect for anyone who wants to manage or be an entrepreneur. Plus, anyone can apply, no matter their educational background.

It’s important to choose the right specialization that interests you. And although it might be a bit more expensive, it’s better to go to a reputable college that will give you a valuable education and job opportunities. Pursuing a BBA is like investing in your future success. So, get excited about it, choose wisely, and build a strong foundation for your career!
